Shipping

[About Shipping]

Everything is shipped from Kyoto, Japan with DHL, Fedex or UPS except in the case of a prior arrangement. Shipping cost depends on the volume of your order.

The shipping cost indicated is only a rough estimation (high estimation). The actual shipping cost is only known once the parcel is ready, but it's usually between 20 and 25% of the total of your order.

If the final shipping cost is eventually less expensive than the one estimated, we simply deduce it from your initial payment on PayPal or your credit card. If it's more expensive, we confirm your initial payment as it is and send you another money request for the remaining.

Payment

Product Care

Since this product is made out of natural wood, some care is required:
  • Hand wash with a mild soap and soft sponge or brush after use. Avoid using harsh cleaners.
  • Rinse thoroughly and wipe the wood dry using a soft cloth.
  • Allow the washed bento to air-dry naturally completely, approximately for a day.
  • Do not leave it to soak as this will disfigure the wood over time.
  • To prevent natural cracking, treat the wooden dish with a light coat of natural food-grade mineral oil, such as coconut oil (avoid food grade oils as they can become rancid if the wooden dish is not used often). Apply a light coat overnight, and then wipe off the excess.
  • Do not store it in direct heat; store in a dry area.
