The Take Bako is a beautiful traditional bento box, made of bamboo by artisans who have been in business in Kyoto since 1898. The highest quality demanded by finicky Kyoto-ites is reflected in every detail of the box; even the elastic band that holds the box closed has a small, carved bamboo decoration, in black or red.
This lunch box is a two tier stacking one with a lid and comes packaged in a beautiful presentation box. Since bamboo is a natural material, no two boxes are alike.
Take Hashi Maru are soft and elegant bamboo chopsticks, with a traditional Japanese design. They are accompanied by a matching round piece of bamboo, which serves two purposes: it acts as an elegant chopstick rest, and it keeps the sticks together. Two versions available: Gold and Silver.
